All Used Vehicles listed on Fundealer.com may be available for purchase by Canadian Customers

All New Pontoons listed on FunDealer.com may be available for purchase by Canadian Customers

New Boats by Bayliner, Four Winns and Hurricane Boats listed on Fundealer.com may be available for purchase by Canadian Customers. Custom ordered Bayliner, Four Winns and Hurricane Boats can also be ordered and custom built for Canadian Customers. New Boats by MasterCraft and Moomba are not available for sale to Canadian Customers.

All New Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheel Trailers listed on FunDealer.com may be available for purchase by Canadian Customers. Custom ordered Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels can also be ordered and custom built for Canadian Customers.

What will be the total amount paid to the dealership for Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels?

Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels are sold at their selling price, a Documentation Fee of $299, North Dakota Drive Out Permit Fee of $5, plus any agreed upon Dealer Options.

Dealer Options are optional items that are offered with the sale of Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels. This may include equilizer hitches, fifth wheel hitches, camping kits and other accessories.

City, State and US Federal Taxes are not collected by the dealership on the sale of Travel Trailers or Fifth Wheels to Canadian Customers.

What will be the total amount paid to the dealership for Boats and Pontoons?

Boats and Pontoons are sold at their selling price, a Documentation Fee of $299, plus any agreed upon Dealer Options. In addition sales tax will be collected on Boats and Pontoons.

Canadian Residence are eligible for a refund of the sales tax paid on purchases in North Dakota. This refund is available to individuals, not businesses, on goods used permanently outside of North Dakota.

How is payment taken for the vehicle?

Once you have chosen your new vehicle and have put down a deposit, you have 3 Business Days to do complete a Wire Transfer or delivery of a Certified Check.

Payment must be made at least 3 Business Days prior to picking up the vehicle.

Step - by - Step Guide

  • Find the vehicle, or vehicles, you may have interest in. If you are unsure, please contact McLaughlin RV & Marine at (701) 237-6046 for assistance.
  • Contact an expert sales professionals at McLaughlin RV & Marine for an explanation of features, answers to any questions and to request additional pictures. You can contact the Sales Department at (701) 237-6046.
  • Receive a faxed or emailed Sales Quote which identifies the exact vehicle and out-the-door pricing
  • Place a deposit (Refundable for 3 Days)
  • Receive Wiring Instructions and send payment within 3 days of placing the deposit.
  • Place Insurance on the Vehicle
  • Schedule your Customer Show and Pickup of your vehicle.
  • During the Customer Show you will recieve a walk through of the vehicle by a technician. You will also meet with the Business Office at McLaughlin RV & Marine's to receive and review final paperwork.

Documentation Provided to Canadian Customers

Signed Sales Quote/Order

The Sales Order/Quote will identify the vehicle by Year, Manufacturer, Brand, Model and VIN. This will itemize options and the amount paid. The final copy will show that there is not an unpaid balance and will be signed by both the buyer and the seller.

Recall Letter

This is a letter provided by the manufacturer on New Vehicles stating that the particular vehicle, identified by VIN, is not subject to any recalls in Canada or the United States.

Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO)

This is a document provided by the manufacturer on New Vehicles. The Manufacturer Statement of Origin identifies the vehicle as new and never before registered to a consumer.

Title and/or Registration Card

Appropriate ownership documents will be provided on vehicles which are used. These will be completed and with signatures transfering ownership.

Drive Out Permit

The North Dakota Drive Out Permit is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, must be displayed in the window of the vehicle, and allows the individual to drive the vehicle from our state to their home of record. There is a $5 Free for the North Dakota Drive Out Permit.
