PREMIER’S PTX™ PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE
Take your pontoon to the next level.
Premier’s patent pending PTX™ triple tube technology is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced in a pontoon. Available in sterndrive (I/O) and outboard (O/B) configurations, the triple tube gives each pontoon unprecedented performance and handling. With our unique PTX™ 36-inch PTX-shaped hull, featuring a 12-inch flat surface, you’ll experience instantaneous planing and unmatched power and stability. Our O/B and I/O option comes standard with lifting strakes.
- Heavy-duty, .100 gauge aluminum, 2-piece hydrodynamic nosecone with built-in splash guards
- Large heavy-duty on-center nosecone
- 7’ in-floor storage compartment with vented, lockable trap door
- Oversized 36” patented PTX shaped center hull with 12” flat planing surface. The large planing surface and greater hull volume and water displacement add increased stability and handling.
- 16” on-center crossmembers provide added deck stability
- 53 gallon built-in fuel tank provides a lower center of gravity
- Additional crossmembers in transom help reduce racking and provide additional strength and support for any engine
- Lifting strakes on the inside of both outer pontoons help increase planing and maneuverability
PREMIER CONTINUES TO BUILD A BETTER BOAT
Often imitated but never duplicated.
Premier continues to lead the industry in patents, trademarks and leading-edge innovations. Each year we come up with new and better ways of constructing our boats to ensure that our customers receive a quality, reliable product that will stand the test of time. From our patented J-Clips™ fasteners to our exclusive Flexsteel® furniture, Premier offers an uncompromised product that will be enjoyed summer after summer.
TUBES AND NOSECONES
We start with a heavy-duty, .090 gauge aluminum, multi-chambered 25’ and 27’ tube, and a .100 gauge aluminum, 2-piece hydrodynamic nosecone. Our splash deflectors are built in, not welded to the tube, to ensure the strongest structure. We then use extruded, heavy-duty M-brackets to attach the pontoon to the deck. Our oversized footprint results in greater strength and stability, and our pressure-tested tubes (air-gauge tested throughout the manufacturing process) guarantee an airtight seal in the tubes and welds. Our PALS tube vents compensate for temperature fluctuation and prevent the tube from filling with water if punctured below the waterline.
Our 16” on-center Z-channel crossmembers (on most models) are bolted to the M-brackets with stainless steel fasteners. While the industry standard is 24”, Premier uses a 16” crossmember to increase stability by preventing racking and twisting of the frame. We also use extra Z-channel crossmembers to create the strongest possible all-aluminum transom in the industry.
We then attach a 7-ply, 3/4’, marine grade and pressure treated plywood to the frame using an average of 10 stainless steel Tekfasteners per crossmember. That’s more than 300 on a 25’ boat. Unlike predrilled decks that are bolted, which allows water to leak through the frame, our Tekfasteners are attached with high-speed drills directly into the Z-channels, generating enough heat to sonic-weld the fastener to the frame. Our decks are sanded, filled and leveled out for a smooth surface to adhere either marine grade carpet or vinyl.
RAILS AND GATES
Our railings are secured to the deck using our patented rail spacers to allow for faster drying of the deck and carpet. We then add our exclusive pearl essence finish after welding. Pearl rail finish is superior to powder coating and is guaranteed not to crack, chip or peel. An industrial-strength silicone caulk applied to each panel ensures a quiet, rattle-free ride. Two heavy-duty hinges, with the same strength and durability as home door hinges, keep our patented pinch-free gates stable and warp-free.
Our lifetime warranty rotocast furniture is covered with puncture-resistant 34 oz. vinyl with 18 mil. SRT stain resistant coating. The seat bases are built with a waffle-board drainage system that’s lighter and stronger than wood for increased durability. The seat backs use an integrated drainage system to allow water to easily flow off the seats to the back of the boat. And all our furniture–including our captain’s seats, couches and fishing chairs–is guaranteed, 100% wood-free. While most manufacturers claim to use wood-free furniture, it’s not uncommon to find wood built into their seat backs and bases. Look for yourself by pulling up a rear cup holder.
This is all topped off with our 1.25’ extruded Bimini hardware and frame, covered by a durable and water resistant canvas top with easy-fastening, multi-positioning J-Clips™. Our hardware and J-Clips™ are strong, easy-to-operate, and use no hard-to-use, pre-positioned snaps that can rust—a patented industry exclusive.
PREMIER, AN ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED COMPANY
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a global network that identifies what international standards are required by business, government and society, develops them in partnership with the sectors that will put them to use, adopts them based on national input, and delivers them to be implemented worldwide. ISO standards level the playing field. They make transparent the requirements that products must meet on world markets, as well as the conformity assessment mechanisms for checking that those products measure up to standards.
Premier is proud to be the first pontoon manufacturer to receive this prestigious certification and pass on the high standard of manufacturing required by ISO to our customers. What does this mean to you? A better product through better business practices.
BUILT WITH A TRADITION OF FAMILY VALUES
We believe boating is about family. That’s why we take pride in our family-owned company. Premier Pontoons is an independent business owned and operated by the Menne family since its founding in 1992. A Premier pontoon is a blend of the best in classic design, distinctive styling and superb engineering. We have refined the fine art of pontoon building and employ the best designers, architects and engineers to ensure that our product is second to none. Our dedication to quality craftsmanship, practical design, new product development, and continuous safety innovation sets us far apart from the competition and labels Premier as America’s ONLY premium, family-owned pontoon brand.
Only the best boats on the water are fully certified for building and safety standards by the National Marine Manufacturers Association. Never purchase a boat unless you see an NMMA CERTIFIED sticker … just like the one on a Premier pontoon. NMMA certification means your pontoon is five times safer than a non-certified boat.
